Adam began a progressive career in civil engineering. After over a decade within civil engineering, he travelled throughout Europe for a year before returning to Nelson with a new outlook on life. This outlook led Adam to help grow a successful business within the funeral industry. 

A diverse career path has taught Adam how to streamline communication, and how to interact with people from all walks of life. This has also made him a lifelong learner with an insatiable desire to experience new things. Adam has found that having a wide variation in experience sets him apart in terms of flexibility, due to the range of problems he has had to solve over the years. 

Outside of business, Adam is an enthusiastic member of the community and enjoys spending time with his family, taking advantage of Nelson’s beautiful cycle tracks, and has a passion for fitness.
