Alan Blackburn
About Alan Blackburn

Alan was originally from Rotorua before moving to the King Country and ultimately purchasing his first 380ha farm in Ongarue with his wife Kerry where they have been for 40 years, 3 children and 5 grandchildren later. His farm consists of wintering 1500 deer for Venison and velvet with cattle in the mix.

Alan has been involved in the farming sector all his working life, starting in dairying then sheep/beef farming before going contract fencing for himself, purchasing his own farm in 1984 so he knows the day to day issues the farming community face. He has worked at the coal face, done the hard yards while maintaining a good rapport with the local community.

Alan was involved in the tourism industry on the Whanganui River for 12 years operating a jet boat business while still farming this gave him the skills to communicate clearly with clients.

Alan has been working hard at helping vendors achieve the maximum market price to their assets and finding the perfect fix for our purchasers. Approachable, knowledgeable, he looks to provide a quality service with a fresh approach, no job is to big or too small for Alan.
