About Andy Riley
Buying or selling a home can be an overwhelming experience, unless you are fully informed and in control of the process. That’s why it’s important you find the right people to work with; people who will understand you and support you to take the steps you need to take to gain the rewards you desire.
My background prior to real estate was varied, including experience in the Health, Oil and the Tourism industries. With a focus on sales and marketing which gave me the opportunity to deal with people from all walks of life and varied ethnic groups, In 1989 I changed tack to sail the now famous Tallship Soren Larsen around the world completing our first circumnavigation in 1991. This all helped me learn the keys to successful selling which are to understand the needs of the customer and always deliver on commitments – fundamentals I bring to my career in real estate.
Living overseas also helped me appreciate the unique lifestyle New Zealand has to offer, and why so many people including my family want to live on the North Shore. The outdoors, the great beaches, parks, waterways plus a growing number of restaurants, cafés and new shopping facilities are aspects we too were drawn to when choosing where to live Supporting community is important to me and over the years I have been involved in various community roles including Deputy Chairperson for the Albany Community Board. and Resource Consent Commissioner which provided me with an in depth knowledge of the planning and environmental processes here on the North Shore looking to build a safer, smarter and more sustainably efficient homes; this was a key aspect for me when building my own home of which we have incorporated many sustainable features.
Looking forward to talking with you soon
