After many years in the motor vehicle and heavy transport service industries, Anton deeply understands the need to be responsive and perceptive assuring his customers that they are in a safe pair of hands. Working from the Karaka office, Anton has a particular passion for his home neighbourhood of Cockle Bay and is also focussed on assisting homeowners and buyers in the greater South Auckland region.
Originally from South Africa, Anton’s background as a mechanical engineer saw his 20-year career path lead into high profile corporate roles in the motor vehicle and trucking industries. Entrepreneurial and well-connected he successfully set up and ran his own high-end luxury vehicle workshop in Capetown for 3 years before emigrating to New Zealand for family reasons. He continued working in automotive service management roles for several companies before moving into the real estate profession in early 2022.
Anton is strategic, analytical and has a laser-like focus on problem solving. His capacity to see the way forward comes from years working in an industry where identifying the issue and fixing it is the name of the game. His fresh approach, boundless enthusiasm, and commercial experience arms him with the prime credentials to guide his clients through the complex process of selling or buying property. His perspective is that to keep a client well informed they need to know the facts and figures of the market and how that can boost their own circumstances. In this, Anton reigns supreme. Great at building rapport with a warm and affable manner, he elicits trust and stays the course to successfully negotiate a deal over the line.
Married to Kailey, Anton loves his family time, maintains a lifelong interest in motorsport, and gets out on his mountain bike when his schedule allows.
