About Barbara Erceg
After leaving school, Barbara joined a legal firm and accumulated over 20 years of legal experience which has been of significant benefit to her market patronage. From general interpersonal ‘people’ skills to more specific experience in conveyance law, Barbara has considerable abilities in facilitating easy, profitable sales or purchases for her clients.
Maintaining a busy schedule, Barbara has also been involved – with her husband – in a seven-day-per-week food-service business for the past 12 years, gleaning in the process a range of invaluable business skills. In practice, these many skills have given Barbara a unique ability to accurately tailor great results for both prospective customers and listed clients – or, in her own words, “to match people and property”. This ability is exemplified by the fact that, over a prodigious two weeks, Barbara successfully completed three separate house sales on the same street and achieved a new record price for the street in the process!
Enjoying the rural atmosphere of Papakura, Barbara is heavily involved with the local community with eight-year tenure on the School Board of Trustees and 10 years on the PPTA. Barbara has also received a Community Service Award from the Papakura District Council for her outstanding work. Currently involved with her husband on their own subdivision involving 28 houses, Barbara owns a rural block with livestock and has extensive experience in all aspects of the building and renovation of homes. This broad-ranging familiarity with the industry has given Barbara a deep enthusiasm for all types of property, particularly new developments, though residential sales occupy the largest portion of her business. Barfoot & Thompson’s operating ethics of open, honest family values – with the highest standards on integrity – are complemented admirably by Barbara’s business practices. In fact, Barbara has become well known for her energy and commitment when marketing and selling her client’s properties.
