I was raised on a dairy farm, 2nd to youngest of 7 siblings, I remember growing up in this massive house which remind me of “the Waltons”, plenty of lawn to play as well as a concrete tennis court. The homestead was built in 1881 so it had plenty of character and it became the family hub for any occasion. Having a big family is very special, I’m a proud uncle of 20 nieces and nephews, that adds to our family bond. My wife, Karen and I have 5 grandchildren, our bond with them is fantastic, and we love watching them grow into their own personalities.
I’ve been selling rural real estate successfully since September 2004, learning all the time, and gaining experiences. The move to Collective First National is a great move for me, where I’m still selling real estate, but also coaching new and inexperienced agents, while using good systems, and processes that they can implement into their own journeys.
I’ve been fortunate to have dealt with so many great people over the years as vendors and purchasers, but also trainers and advisers. The values I’ve learnt growing up still apply today - work hard, be true to yourself, and respect others.
I’m well known in a wide area simply as ‘BC’, which is quite cool!! Outside of work, I enjoy time with Karen, either out with friends, holidays, or family time with the kids, playing golf and having a beer with my mates, and supporting family in their careers,
I am a passionate Taranakian!! I do sponsor where I can, especially the rural support trust.
