Coming from a mechanical and engineering background, with a passion in his youth for building and racing cars, Brent spent time in Auckland and Melbourne, where he worked in finance and insurance.
Returning home to buy an apple orchard and continuing in the fruit industry for 15 years, since the mid-1980’s Brent has been involved in real estate – working for companies as a consultant for new homes, property investment, house renovations and land development.

He qualified as a residential salesperson in 2014 and was actively recruited by multiple local agencies, selling residential homes across Hastings and Havelock North, before joining Arizto in 2024.
This background has given him a wide range of skills and business acumen, which when it comes to selling your home allows him to think outside the square if need be when it comes to specific negotiations, and understanding financing requirements.
