About Cherry Cooper

For the last 35 years, I have been selling rural and waterfront properties in the Karaka, Franklin and Manukau Harbour regions. I’m proud to say, having achieved some of the highest prices ever for clients selling lifestyle blocks, that I have built myself a rather awesome reputation!

I come from a fifth generation New Zealand farming family, so selling rural property through Barfoot & Thompson Papakura I am well and truly in my element. I have lived and worked in this area as a property professional for more than three decades. For me, it’s not just a job. Delivering a personalised and specialist service to my clients is what I love to do.

Good communication is incredibly important and for me, it doesn’t stop at the close of the sale. Once I sell a property, I introduce buyers to the area that I know so well and share with them as much as I can, so they can settle in as quickly and comfortably as possible.

When it comes to marketing and negotiating, my strong point of difference is that I think outside the square. Because of this, I am fortunate to be able to select unique properties to sell - not just the big properties - I enjoy helping people sell smaller properties too.

My aim is to treat clients as if they are with me for life. That means spending time listening to vendors and going out of my way to keep people fully informed throughout the sales process.

Basically, I’m a down-to-earth country girl and a busy, fun-loving mother and grandmother. I have always been horse mad and I am a supporter of the Waiau Pa Pony Club and both the Maramarua and Pakuranga Hunt Clubs. This involvement has given me the opportunity to build a database of contacts, establish myself and succeed in the area.

My mission in life is to help others reach their goals. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy faces of my vendors and purchasers after another successful sale. So if you're looking to achieve the best possible results for your property - call me today.
