Darren started his real estate career in 1984 in Australia working for his family company, The Professionals Everton Park in Brisbane, being a dynamic business covering all facets of the Real Estate business. Darren has involved himself in all facets of Real Estate starting in property management, moving into residential sales and management of the sales team and then moving into Projects, later managing a large team handling most major residential developments on the north side of Brisbane. Seeking further Real Estate challenges, Darren moved to New Zealand after being offered a position with the then Harveys Corporation as an area manager for West Auckland, and when presented with an opportunity to buy an office, he took the opportunity with open arms. Darren quickly grew the network to five offices within the Harveys network and after 20+ years Darren saw the need to change brands in order to provide a greater level of service to his clients and customers necessitating the move to LJ Hooker. Darren now leads the LJ Hooker Southern Partners office which has a strong sales team and also a Property Management Division. This office is now well and truly entrenched in the top 5 in the country receiving numerous awards. Darren is responsible for the day-to-day management of the development and the projects sales staff.
