Gavin is a born and bred Aucklander, originally from Westmere, but has lived on the Shore for the last 20 years.
 
With 23 years of frontline policing experience in Auckland and the North Shore, with the last 10 years working as the Community Constable in Takapuna and Milford, he has learnt the value of being able to interact with a wide variety of backgrounds.
 
In 2008, he was awarded a QSM in the New Years Honours List for his services to the community, not only in policing but youth rugby. 

This was a highlight of his time spent in the NZ Police, along with being part of the first Policing team deployed to Christchurch after the earthquakes in 2011. This was a very testing but rewarding time in being able to help out in the circumstances faced by Cantabrians. His professional but relaxed manner means you'll be treated with respect and honesty at all times.

Gavin has a background in sports management, having managed Takapuna Premiers to four North Harbour championships as well as the North Harbour Development XV and the North Harbour 7's side to the Nationals in Queenstown over the past few years.
 
He has a broad base of community ties and looks forward to bringing these contacts together with his personality and ambition to become a top real estate salesperson and achieve the best results for his clients.
