A little about me… Originally from Wanaka, I first ventured out into the wider world working as cabin crew for Air New Zealand. That is a tough gig. Working as a flight attendant is highly demanding. It needs great attention to detail, communication and teamwork to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the safety and comfort of our customers. The move into property management wasn’t one that I was expecting, but there were a lot of transferable skills. Starting in an administrative role in 2019, and moving into a Tenancy Manager position later that year before shifting into the role of Property Manager in 2022 means I have done my time, and I have seen the business from different angles. I was a good and keen learner. I currently look after a large portfolio of property mainly based around the northwest of the city from Merivale and Fendalton through to Strowan, Avonhead and Yaldhurst. It is a great portfolio of properties, and with Clare Zarb in the Tenancy Manager role, and a fantastic wider support team in the office, we work together to maintain the high standards required for this portfolio. I am a pretty calm person, a good problem solver and I am a bit of a “people-pleaser” - but as a property owner myself, I understand the financial pressures our clients can feel, and know that good communication solves most things.
