About Graeme Pennell
Gaining Nidd Realty Limited’s annual top sales award from 2010-2021 and runner-up salesperson of the year 2022 have been stand-out achievements in my real estate career. Since moving from journalism to real estate in 2007, I have been thrilled with the results achieved and pleased to have been able to assist so many people.
A major focus of my career in real estate is to provide outstanding communication and to make the process of acquiring and changing properties as easy as possible. After winning the company’s rookie of the year award in 2007-08, my sales totals have been consistently among the top attained and I am continuing to set and meet high targets, achieving close to an average of $1 million a month in sales and now exceeding a total of more than $100 million, earning a Platinum Achievers award.
Following more than 30 years as a journalist in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, I have found many parallels between the two careers. I believe the key ingredient in real estate, as in journalism, is people and I enjoy mixing with people from all walks of life. Renovating property and acquiring investment properties had been an interest of mine from the mid -1990s. Aligning my career with what had been a hobby has been extremely rewarding and fulfilling.
In the past 20 years, I have written about property-related matters, redeveloped several residential properties, become a landlord and established and grown a property investment company, so it is very rewarding now to be helping people with their real estate needs. I thrive on success and personal achievement and believe life should be a continuous learning experience. My aim is to continue to soak up knowledge and experience in the real estate industry and become even more widely known for my professional and friendly service.
