Following my personal conviction that “whatever you do in life you should do with passion and total commitment” lead me into real estate. In 1999 after a successful 15 year career in landscape gardening and horticulture I joined the industry. I have had a long held interest in real estate after renovating and landscaping several of my own properties over the years. Moving into the real estate industry was a natural and very satisfying fit.

I found great enjoyment in matching the right people to the right homes while at the same time helping vendors achieve their goals. After my first 12 months my career change was validated when I received the ‘Rookie’ of the year award. I now had the opportunity to embrace the job that I felt passionate about and my clients were impressed by my marketing and negotiating skills.

While often challenging my objective is always to strive to get the best possible price for my vendors as well as ensuring the process is as pleasurable and stress-free as possible. I get great satisfaction from strategically working out the best marketing plan for each individual property.

I love being part of the Barfoot and Thompson sales team. As a New Zealand owned family business they have a proven reputation founded on strong family values. The strong leadership and professional environment enhances my own business and as a result a large percentage of my business now comes from referrals and repeat business.

I have lived in and around the Ponsonby area for over 30 years and I love the place. Ponsonby has grown into an exciting and dynamic area with an abundance of great restaurants, bars and café’s which has helped fuel the demand in this vibrant area. I feel privileged and humbled to be able to say I have a reputation for being honest and hardworking and I strive to live up to my clients expectations.
