- Jack Newsome
I left Inglewood and embarked on overseas travel through UK and Europe on an extensive working holiday, after completing my carpentry and joinery apprenticeship.
On my return to Taranaki I purchased a dry stock farm at Midhurst and also started my building business in Stratford. For the next ten years I built new homes and ran my farm.
In 1989 Taranaki Farmers, Stratford gave me the opportunity to take my building skills further by selling residential and rural properties within central Taranaki. After achieving my branch manager’s qualifications I made the move from Stratford to Taranaki Farmers, Hawera specialising in rural real estate.
I also spent a number of years in the Waikato dairy farming industry and also worked in real estate until my move back to Taranaki in 2007 to continue in the same businesses.
Since completing the National Diploma in Real Estate I have opened my own business in New Plymouth and continue to offer my expertise in both the rural and residential real estate industry.

Testimonials:
"On behalf of myself and Edith we would like to say a huge thank you for all your help and support with selling our house. The service you have provided has been impeccable; the professionalism of everyone at Town and Country has been outstanding. This is especially true, as it was not an ordinary 4 bedroom house but something quite unique and probably only of interest to a niche market. " David - Vendor
