After a successful career in corporate sales working with some of New Zealand’s top brands, and then having started, built up and successfully sold her own business, Jo John entered the real estate industry with some strong ideas of the value of quality customer service and what she could achieve. Jo was attracted to the business as she has always been interested in real estate and interior design and she knew she could improve on the service that some agents in the industry provide.
After over fourteen years in the industry, Jo’s success speaks for itself. She has a strong and loyal customer base whom are only too happy to sing her praises for her. Words such as ‘professionalism’, ‘dedication’ and ‘commitment’ are commonly used by those who she has achieved great results for. One phrase perhaps stands out, ‘she delivers on everything that she promises”. As Jo herself says, “It is so important to assist those who are perhaps unfamiliar with the intricacies of a real estate transaction given it is likely to be one of the most important investments in their lives. I want my clients to have complete trust in me and to know that I am totally honest and ethical and will work hard to achieve the best result for them”. Given that she is committed to a long and successful career in the industry she also believes that providing outstanding service is simply good business, “It’s paramount to my business. If a client has had exceptional service then they will talk about it and recommend me to others.” Jo gets a great sense of achievement overcoming the various challenges in achieving her clients’ objectives and really enjoys continually meeting new people through the course of her week.
Jo also has a keen eye for interior design, a useful skill in helping clients ensure their homes are presented as well as possible to the market.
