South Canterbury born and raised but now considering himself a Marlborough local, Joe and Rhonda have lived and raised their family in Marlborough since 1997

Joe has been with PGG Wrightson for over 30 years having spent time as a Livestock Representative in St Andrews and Fairlie before moving into Rural Banking in the Timaru Branch in 1992. His involvement in Real Estate began with managing the South Canterbury urban and rural sales force for Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd in 1993. After being appointed Branch Manager of PGG in Blenheim in 1997 the dual role of District Manager and Real Estate Sales Manager until 2010 where Joe focused on the Marlborough the real estate sales, with responsibility now including the Kaikoura market as well as managing sales in the Nelson region.

As well as being one of five PGG Wrightson Accredited Auctioneers, Joe is an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.

The Marlborough region is quite distinct from the traditional PGG Wrightson area of operation with the mix of rural property sold from high value viticultural land to traditional pastoral units, high country ,dairy farms and lifestyle blocks.

Joe’s extensive Career in management, finance and real estate gives him an unsurpassed knowledge of matters vital to a successful real estate transaction. His extensive network of professional contacts are vital to understanding trends in the market as is his ability to relate to grass roots farmers and rural businessmen.

Outside of work Joe has a family of four who enjoy camping, tramping and all sports. Joe has refereed Rugby to Provincial Level and until recently was president of the Cuddon Marlborough road cycling club. He is also involved with The Lake Rotoiti Power Boat Club through his sons boat racing ambitions
