John Yao came to New Zealand in 1995 to enjoy the lifestyle that New Zealand has to offer. He has a background in Computer Engineering and upon arrival in New Zealand he worked at THE EDGE as a functions supervisor for 8 years.

John has a keen interest in photography, reading and fine Chinese cuisine and he is fluent in the English and Chinese languages.

John has been successfully involved in the industry since joining the Barfoot & Thompson Residential Sales Team in 2003. In May 2007 he joined the Point Chevalier Office.
