Julia was born in England, where she worked as a primary school teacher in both city and rural schools. During this time she indulged her passion for creativity and knowledge, starting a fine dining restaurant called ‘Brief Encounters’ on the platform of a Victorian railway station in Malvern.

Deciding that the big wide world had much to offer, she emigrated in the early 1990's to raise her family of four children in New Zealand. Julia continued her drive for excellence, completing a Masters degree in Human Dynamics and Psychology. She successfully ran her own consulting business and has lectured part-time at the University of Canterbury on personality type, conflict management, and group dynamics.

After entering the world of real estate in 2011, Julia quickly snagged the Rookie of the Year title and has now been the Number One Individual Residential Salesperson in Bayleys Canterbury since 2017. She has a stellar sales record and a reputation for going above and beyond for her clients.

Julia describes life as a “cocktail of experiences” and has met some of life’s biggest challenges head-on. She understands firsthand the challenges of relocation, downsizing without downgrading, and selling a home after loved ones have passed on.

Real estate may be Julia’s job, but people are her passion. She takes pride in providing personal service to every client, for every home. Her charisma, strong client relationships, and attention to detail set her apart from others, and she is known for tackling any problem with tenacity, wisdom, and wit.
