Originally from New York City, Kara moved to Auckland in 2011 with her husband Chris. Initially this was meant to be a temporary move to allow Chris to study, but after falling in love with New Zealand they decided to stay!

Kara purchased her first apartment in 2015 and then got “the bug”, purchasing three properties in that first year. In those early days she read every book and magazine she could get her hands on. Kara understands that success is a team effort. This starts by surrounding yourself with people who have more experience and knowledge than yourself. She has made it her goal to learn from others and to add the best people to her team to help her succeed.

Kara initially joined IFP and now iSellProperty, and has become a self confessed service addict with recent sales meaning joy for families, first home buyers and longer term investors and especially her vendor clients.

“While building my portfolio I have managed my own properties, and these experiences have added to my kete. I love working with people and consider being a true listener and developing authentic relationships a strength of mine. In 2019 we moved to the Bay of Plenty and enhanced my property portfolio.
