Karla has been in the Real Estate industry intermittently since the early 2000’s, predominantly in the Residential Property Management Sector. She has also worked a number of years in technology as National Training Manager and Product Sales Manager for Panasonic NZ and NZ Branch Manager for Show Technology.

Karla has always strived to be the best at what she does, builder strong relationships and to achieve the highest level of excellence possible.

After growing up in Cambridge, Karla moved to Auckland as a teenager to complete a Diploma in Performing Arts (Sound & Lighting), living in Auckland for the following 23 years.

As well as working full-time, Karla has had the privilege of being a professional singer for many of those years. In 2017 Karla and her family made the move and leave the bright lights and traffic, to relocate in Stratford. This was a fantastic decision and they have absolutely loved being part of a close-knit community in the most beautiful place in the world!

This gave Karla the opportunity to return to an industry she loves and was the Business Development Manager for a Property Management business, managing 9 staff. Her goal has been to sell Real Estate, not only just to sell, but to EXCEL in selling Real Estate and now, she has the opportunity to put her experiences together with Alison Smith in their new venture “Smith & Co” within the Bayleys umbrella.

Together they have combined their real estate, property management, sales and marketing knowledge, infused it into the business to offer their clients the complete package.
