My career in property management began in 2005, and from the very first day, I learned that every transaction needs focused effort, loads of energy and a large dose of integrity. I also learned that creating a relaxed environment and working collaboratively with both landlords and tenants leads to the best outcomes. I managed a team in Whangarei for five years and the experience I gained there was invaluable. To resolve potentially difficult situations, I had to be observant, tactful and remain calm. Eventually, I returned to Auckland to be near family and in November 2020, I joined the team at Barfoot & Thompson Mt Eden. The common denominator in every successful result is communication. Keeping the lines of communication open with both tenants and landlords ensures that any issues can be speedily resolved before they escalate into conflict. If quick action is needed, I have a network of tradespeople I can call on. Over the past 15 years I have dealt with every situation imaginable and have managed to get the job done, all with a sense of humour! In my spare time I like to spend time with my daughter and I enjoy dining out with friends. I find reading is a great way to relax and if there’s time in a busy week, I go to the gym. My passion for people and property has helped my investor clients defy market conditions and overcome the highs and lows.
