Margaret Troughton a local Matamata girl – born and bred.

Margaret says Real Estate is in her blood, her father, husband and son all have sold Real Estate. For over 35 years the family have talked and walked Real Estate in Matamata.

Margaret Troughton has the philosophy that “Knowledge is Power” and with that in mind she is always taking opportunities to extend her knowledge base. After owning and managing a local real estate business, Margaret attended Massey University to achieve her “AREINZ” status. This qualification recognizes her experience in the industry.

With over 20 years’ experience selling real estate in Matamata.  Margaret is the Sales Manager of Bayleys Matamata surrounded by an experienced team of twelve with over 100 years’ experience collectively. Margaret’s focus is marketing and selling residential and lifestyle properties in the Waikato region specialising in Matamata.

In the past year Margaret has achieved Bayleys' top 10% selling residential agent nationally. Margaret’s journey so far has been exciting and varied.
