About Ramon Kane

Recognising the importance of property ownership as a means to long term stability and financial security, Ramon purchased his first home at the age of 19 and is now taking every opportunity in his chosen profession to assist others achieve the same results. As a young adult, he quickly came to understand the issues that needed to be considered when buying property and witnessed firsthand the pressures that this can create and how best to alleviate these pressures through attention to detail and good product knowledge.

Ramon has had a background in the hospitality industry as a qualified Chef and he has worked in the mining industry at the world’s largest LNG plant – The Gorgon Gas project for 4 years before returning to New Zealand to pursue a career in real estate. His early training in real estate came through attendance at the training academy of industry leaders and renowned Auckland agents Barfoot and Thompson Ltd. Ramon also quickly adopted Tommy’s best practice policies for dealing with the buying and selling public and capitalized on the opportunities afforded to him while working with industry leaders in an award winning sales team.

For his first two years in real estate, Ramon learned from and was mentored by real estate icon, Tommy Heptinstall. Tommy’s words of wisdom and market “know how” were absorbed by Ramon and put into effective practice. Taking on board advice and guidance from the best in the industry and being sympathetic and attentive to the needs of his clients have been pivotal factors in Ramon’s highly successful venture into real estate sales.

Ramon has made a sizeable contribution to Tommy’s sales in the last 5 years which he attributes to the company culture and profile but success does not come by association alone and achieving top results requires a high level of dedication and personal input in the highly competitive real estate industry; qualities that are apparent in the service that Ramon offers his clients.

Whilst Ramon covers the entire Wellington City and suburbs with the same level of enthusiasm, he has gained a reputation for his successes in negotiating sales on several million dollar plus properties in and around Wellington’s CBD. He has a proven ability to deal with “high end” buyers and sellers but conversely, he is equally at home with clients in the entire pricing spectrum including first home buyers. In particular, Ramon has had success with properties that have been tardy in selling and relishes the challenges that come with finding true market value and bringing buyers and seller’s price expectations together in the form of an unconditional sale.
