In order to successfully market a property, I believe that the person presenting that property to the market should be professional in their activities, should be experienced and should appear friendly and approachable. It is important that they understand the Real Estate market and the technical and legal aspects of selling property. It is equally important that they have sufficient experience in dealing with people and with business matters in general.
I believe that I have the qualities required to successfully market one of your most valuable assets, your home.
I live in the Tairua area with my wife, Ann. We have two children, a son and daughter, and four grandchildren.
My career background includes education and business. I was a teacher for 12 years, becoming a senior teacher in my 6th year. After leaving teaching I became involved in publishing, first in sales then moving through to management. A career move took me in to the retail field in a management role where I later became Company Secretary of a major retail group.
The experience I have gathered over the years has proven to be a real asset when it comes to selling Real Estate!
I started selling Real Estate in 1992 with Clark Weir (now Baileys) and then moved to Barfoot & Thompson in 1996. I joined Richardsons Real Estate Ltd in Tairua in 2013 and am thoroughly enjoying working with a tight knit, highly motivated team with a very successful track record.
Recently my daughter Bridgette joined me, as my partner, so that we now provide a seven day a week service to our clients.
My interests include photography (tutoring), art and music, boating of all sorts and history.
I enjoy what I do and hope that I can put my skills to work for you.
