About Ross Collins

My background is in management and finance, but I also have considerable experience in the property industry, having been a real estate franchise owner for a number of years. Working with people is what I love to do, so helping clients buy and sell property is the perfect vocation for me.

I’ve joined the branch at Barfoot & Thompson Omokoroa, and it has to be said that a company that’s been in business for 100 years, holding 43% of the Auckland market, must be doing something right! I have high hopes for Barfoot & Thompson in the Bay of Plenty and have no doubt that the brand will achieve the same success down here!

In 2009 I moved to Katikati and what a great place to live! From the Kaimai Ranges to the beautiful Tauranga Harbour, there’s some great lifestyle choices in the region; from Katikati to the surrounding districts – these towns and everything in between will be my areas of work.

An achievement of which I am extremely proud, was planning and building the Mt Maunganui driving range at the Omanu Golf Club. Although I don’t play golf any more, in 2014, I won the Fairview Golf Club senior’s title.

My family of four children and nine grandchildren give me great joy. Five days of every week, I work out at the gym and for fun, I ride an Indian motorbike with family and friends.

I’ve been around and I know my stuff! Call me at Barfoot & Thompson Omokoroa and let’s explore the area – and the opportunities – together.
