With an unmistakable sparkle in her eye, easy smile and a spring in her step Sandra Power exudes energy while remaining down-to-earth and approachable. Having recently entered an exciting new chapter in her life, she is feeling more inspired than ever!

It’s safe to say Sandra is an over-achiever. She completed a double degree in Law and Commerce at Otago University in just four years, then consulted at Ernst & Young before joining New Zealand’s premier law firm, Russell McVeagh. Sandra began to dabble in property in her spare time before fully committing to a career in investing, trading, developing and eventually consulting on property.

In 2013, Sandra took a leap of faith, becoming a real estate agent. In the first few years, she raked in a string of accolades; ‘Rookie of the Year’, ‘Rising Star of the Year’, No.1 Harcourts Residential Sales Agent (Mt Maunganui and Papamoa year to date results: 1 April – 31 May 2014) and Platinum Sales Status for the quarter (April-June 2014). Not long after joining Bayleys, after just a year, she was awarded ‘Top Achiever of the Month’ (Bayley Mount) which catapulted her to the elite top 10% of salespeople nationwide.

In such a high pressure fast-paced industry, Sandra has held firmly to her philosophy of finding the peace and joy in every day and in her connection with friends, family and work associates. She also knows that real estate is about more than dollar signs and numbers. The properties she sells are curated, crafted spaces filled with love and cherished memories. This genuine sense of ‘home’ has been with her from the beginning and continues to be one of her greatest sources of inspiration.

Sandra believes that in real estate, you reap what you sow. With a name that represented her drive to reach her highest potential and to coach others to do the same, she launched Powers Realty in 2018 alongside Matt and their son Jack, and their PA, Natasha.
