I'm writing this email as a way to give feedback and review our flats' (Hugh Hendrikz and I) experience with Shannon Gibbs as our property manager. First of all I wanted to say that Shannon has been an absolute delight to interact with. Her friendly and empathetic approach to property management is the first I have ever come across and has transformed my view of what property managers can do. In the process of moving into 111A Russell St, I contacted Shannon about a viewing of the property. She set one up in a matter of days, with very polite correspondence. During the viewing, we outlined our complex and difficult situation to Shannon - that we needed a flat within a week - and she was incredibly responsive and understanding to our needs. Not only did she draft an agreement for us within a couple of days, but she did all this despite the pain of a wisdom tooth removal and a full work schedule. By the following Monday, Shannon had set up all the paperwork and organized a key handover at the property. What really struck both Hugh and I was how much she advocated for us, looked out for us and walked us through the processes as they happened. She made it about us, which is what gives me to confidence to say the she is the best property manager Hugh or I ever come across. She's kept in touch with us since the move-in about ongoing maintenance and the healthy homes standards, she even regularly checked in to see how we were settling in. I could not recommend Shannon enough to prospective tenants, property owners seeking management and commend her enough to her employers. Friendly, kind, understanding and constructive - just great!
