Born and raised in Nadi ,Fiji, Shantilal qualified in book keeping from the Royal Society of Arts, London and in 1968 joined Desai Book Depot as an accountant. This lead onto a position in the family business of Lallubhai & Sons as the General Manager. In 1981 Shantilal started his own business known as “Keen Pacific Distributors”. IN 1992 Shantilal qualified as a Registered and Licensed Insurance Agent, representing Colonial Life Fiji Ltd, Colonial Health Care, Blueshield (Pacific) Insurance Ltd, Tower Insurance Ltd, National Bank of Fiji Ltd, Colonial First State Investments (Fiji) Ltd. In 2001 Shantilal decided to relocate to New Zealand and after completing his Real Estate salespersons Certificate he joined Harvey’s New Lynn Office and then in September 2010 joined the Remax Gold, Glen Eden Office and from April 2014 joined Blue Fern Realty Ltd trading as Harcourts Henderson – NAI Harcourts Auckland West –Savery & Co. Limited –Commercial Real Estate Services –Worldwide. His wide background in accounting and insurance has been of great benefit to him in his role as a real estate sales person with a sound background in property investment. He has been very successful in his time in real estate and has a list of successful sales, happy purchasers and vendors to his credit.
