As a young lad in Perth, Western Australia, Simon started out working in finance, but quickly moved on to real estate, where he immediately found his niche. A self-described “career realtor”, Simon has now spent over three decades in the industry, achieving outstanding success, racking up awards, and consistently delivering exceptional results for his clients.

Most of his career has been spent in New Zealand, or more specifically, the Northwest region of Auckland. Simon discovered Muriwai Beach upon his arrival back in 1994, “fell in love, bought a bach” and has been happily living and working in the district ever since.

He’s passionate about the Northwest, and it shows. The community connections Simon has built over the last 25+ years, along with his in-depth knowledge of the local market means he’s able to offer a unique and highly specialised service to anyone wanting to buy or sell here. And that’s not the only advantage his clients enjoy. Known for his warm and energetic approach, clear and honest communication, formidable negotiating skills, and incredible level of professionalism, Simon finds it easy to form lasting and mutually profitable partnerships.

“There tends to be a lot of BS in the industry” he says, “but that’s not my style. I treat my clients’ properties as if they’re my own; I wouldn’t give advice I wouldn’t employ myself and I never suggest anything I can’t achieve.”

This attitude, along with a hefty work ethic passed down from his Dad (“if you’re going to do something, to do it well”) has seen Simon reach the top of his game and stay there; being recognised as the #1 sales agent in the Northwest for more than 20 years running (awarded top sales spot at Harcourts 1998 > 2008, then again at Bayleys 2009 > present day).

To relax, Simon enjoys a round of golf, and spending time with family and friends, many of whom started out as clients. He finds inspiration in meeting new people and marketing a whole range of properties - from one bedroom coastal baches to multi-million dollar homes on large acreages.
