Born and bred in Central Hawkes Bay, Steffan has made a move into the rural realestate sector that has long been in the back of his mind. Being educated at Terrace School and Central Hawkes Bay College in Waipukurau, he is a true blue local. Moving from town to an orchard on the ouskirts of Waipukurau, Steffan soon was working on the neighbouring dairy farm after school and on weekends aged 11 until he was 18. Upon leaving school Steffan did a year long stint in Darwin, Northern Territory in the hospitality industry returning to do three years at Silverfern Farms in Takapau. Another OE bekoned in 1993 and Steffan spent 5 years in the UK where his farming, hospitality and meat works experience all came into play. On returning to New Zealand, Steffan took a position with the Ovation Meat company where he was for the best part of 12 years before taking a position with Silverfern Farms. In 2014 an opportunity came up at Farmlands where he spent the next five years, the last two as Branch Manager. Not in a position to go farming, the next best thing came knocking on the door. An oppotunity to join the sucessful team at Property Brokers was "a no brainer". With a reputation second to none, the team at Property Brokers is just that - "A True Team" and that is why they are as successful as they are. With a busy family life and Steffans partner being raised on a farm at Mangoarapa, it is a perfect fit. Steffans interests include most sports, particularly rugby and golf as he has had representative honours in both codes.
