About Stephen Hiscock

What I love about real estate is that it gives me the ability to help make people's dreams come true. Everyone wants to have their own piece of Kiwi paradise and that is where I come in with my knowledge of lifestyle and rural farming. I'm passionate about the rural industry, not only in my area but in New Zealand as a whole. Being a born and bred dairy farmer and then a livestock agent, I bring a lifetime of experience and knowledge to this role and I can't wait to share it.

Changing from a dairy and livestock career to real estate, there was only one company that I wanted to work for. Barfoot & Thompson's family values and beliefs mirror my own, when it comes to how they treat their clients.

Part of Waiuku's charm is its proximity to Auckland and also the fact that it is a rural town that feels far from the hustle and bustle. Being a fourth generation born and bred local, I have a special connection to the area and the people. I have served on many committees both school and sports over the years, and I enjoy fundraising for local charities.

I am very happily married to my wife Heather. Our family of six children and five grandchildren between us, is a big part of our lives and socialising with friends is important. I am a typical Kiwi male who loves rugby, golf and fishing. We also have a cat called Bella who has both Heather and I very well trained.

I have been a long term supporter of the Heart Foundation the Red Cross and the Cancer Society. I have recently become a supporter of The Neonatal Trust after my daughter had a little girl at 25 weeks.

Whether you are looking at two hectares or 1,000 hectares, I don't think there is a silly question relating to the rural sector. I am very approachable. If it's important to you then it's important to me.

Call me at the Waiuku Barfoot & Thompson branch. I would love to put my experience to work for you.
