First moved to Algies Bay in the early 70s and despite moving away for a few years in his late teens and early 20s, ( briefly living in Mt Maunganui, Hamilton, and Auckland) has been here ever since.  Steven can remember when there were just 6 or 7 houses in Algies Bay, and picking up hay off the bare paddocks/sections for the developer. Watching and being involved with the international sailing events being run from the Sandspit Yacht Club on the beach at Algies Bay, interdominion Paper TIger comps were spectacular,  and attending Warkworth and Mahurangi College.  

Steven has a keen interest and strong connections in the community.  He spent 12 years on school Boards of Trustee; 9 years with the Rodney Local Board and lots of time within local community and sporting groups, including 2 years as president of the Warkworth Tennis and Squash Club, at the beginning of the Covid lockdowns.  

His energetic, enquiring, and empathetic nature with a bit of a competitive streak is perfect for this industry and ensures that Steven is focused on getting the best outcomes for Vendors and Purchasers.
