Stuart visited Whakatane in 1972, back in the days when there was just a fish and chip shop open on a Sunday afternoon. He fell in love with the town and promptly returned to Wellington, quit his job and moved up, all within a month! Apart from a short return to Wellington a few years later, the rest is history and he's still here today!

He completed a motor mechanic apprenticeship but soon realized his love was selling things and became a Sales Rep in the motor trade until 1992 when he began his real estate career and has never looked back. After spending 32 years in the local real estate scene Stuart is thrilled to be with Arizto. His strong repeat and referral business is reflective of his follow through and first class service that he provides throughout the whole process of listing your house for sale or making an offer on a property. He is readily available to help with any questions you may have and happy to receive calls if you need advice or reassurance.

Married to Jude he has two grown up sons, both who love living in Whakatane, and four beautiful grandchildren. Stuart is very passionate about the town and its people. He has just completed ten years as Chairman of the Whakatane Community Patrol where he was instrumental in the setting up of the CCTV cameras which monitor the activities in town, Kope and other hot spots, in total 24 cameras have been installed. His main interest, apart from real estate, is all forms of motor racing.
