I love houses. Always have. As a teen, while my friends were pinning up pictures of a young Brad Pitt and Luke Perry on their walls, mine were plastered with images from house and garden magazines. I dreamed house plans. I spent my pocket-money on dressing my room, and moved my bedroom furniture around every school holidays. Today, I’m LJ Hooker Twin Rivers’ newest recruit. But I’m not new to the property market. My husband and I have been doing up houses, developing commercial properties, building new homes and doing small subdivisions for the past ten years. I’ve graduated from magazine cuttings on the walls to completing a diploma in Interior Design. I’ve learned so much about property – the highs and the lows – from that inside perspective, and I’m ready and excited to share my skills with my clients. I have the uncanny gift of being able to see the potential in all homes. If a home has features to speak to, I will find them. If a property is just looking for a family to love it, I can show them the dream. I’m passionate about making connections with people and confident about showing the world my ideas in a creative way. This sets me up perfectly for a social media driven world and means I can present properties to the world with confidence and authenticity. I also have a great passion for this community. In 2011 I moved to Ngaruawahia when I married my husband and now I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. We love this area, cocooned against the Hakarimata range with the Waikato River flowing past our back door. Mist, rain, rainbows and sunshine; this place warms my heart.
