Born and raised locally Adam has been building homes in Christchurch and Canterbury since 2001. Prior to starting the Christchurch North Franchise he owned and operated Baylis Exclusive Homes, an independant building company specialising in architecturally designed homes. He is proud to have been part of the rebuild of Christchurch, and there isn't much he hasn't seen in terms of recovery work and different sites and has an intimate knowledge of the local build conditions. Adam prides himself on delivering his projects on time and on budget.

On a personal note Adam always knew he was going to be a builder "whether it was helping Dad with a deck or fence I always got a sense of enjoyment from seeing something completed that I helped build. There was something honest and satisfying about it and that resonated with me and paved the way for my career in building. I started building in 2001 and after 17 years I still find myself enjoying it, just on a bigger scale!"

Adam is a proud Dad of 3, and husband to Karyn, and when not working or being involved with kids sport, loves the outdoors - he is still searching for that elusive 20lb Salmon.
