It's a nicely kitted out two-bed apartment in a desirable suburb, but what makes 1/516 New North Road noteworthy is that it could be the last Block home Kiwis will see for sale in New Zealand for some time.
MediaWorks, which airs The Block NZ, announced last week that it selling off its TV arm, which throws the future of the reality TV show into doubt.
The media company produces the show with Warner Bros International Television Productions and had just wrapped up season eight, which saw contestants turn an old fire house into a block of apartments.

Producers were in the midst of seeking contestants for the next season when MediaWorks made its shock announcement to retreat from television broadcasting. That decision could delay or even kill off plans for season nine of the show.
Which means that 1/516 New North Road, Kingsland, may be buyers' last chance to snap up a newly renovated Block home in New Zealand.
The other four apartments in the converted firehouse have all sold - two at auction, for $1.33m and $1.39m, and two post auction, for $1.48m and $1.6m.
Ray White selling agents Tim Hawes and Mark Prunty describe Unit 1 as a luxury ground floor apartment that's "petite but perfectly formed".
"A collaborative approach was taken to the design and execution of this last Block baby, ensuring it didn't miss out on any of the obligatory blood, sweat and tears along the way. The glamourous gem presents two double bedrooms, both with wardrobes and bespoke storage solutions and the already famous award-winning bathroom," the agents say in the listing ad.
And what you see is what you get, with the agents promising "every item in the apartment is included in the sale price, from the TV to the teaspoons".
