It's the last remaining stretch of undeveloped land on Shelly Beach Road in Auckland's exclusive St Marys Bay - and boasts possibly the best view of the Harbour Bridge.
111 Shelly Beach Road is a modest three bedroom family home built in 1940s, and sits on a 1300sqm section - a rarity for a suburb that's right next door to the CBD.
The property is in an elevated, north-facing position and looks out to Westhaven Marina and the bridge. Barfoot and Thompson sales agent Carl Madsen says it is an opportunity for buyers to secure one of the best located sections in St Marys.

"The property is the last undeveloped section on Shelly Beach Road. It will definitely interest people looking to build their dream home."
The property was owned by a Dutch family who had survived the Second World War and had come to New Zealand in the early 1950s for a better life.
They had been renting in St Marys Bay, Papatoetoe and Ponsonby and then bought 111 Shelly Beach Road in 1970. The couple passed away some years ago but, Madsen says the house is still very much in its original condition. "It's like going back in time," he says.
In an interview with the New Zealand Herald three years ago, one of the late couple's children described how special the property was for the family.
Anita van Veenendaal, who moved to New Zealand with her parents Joseph and Maria and her twin sister Bernadette when she was five, said: "For my parents and the rest of the family it has been a very happy house. It's been a gathering point for children, grandchildren and great grandchildren."
Although the property was listed just before Christmas, there has been a good level of inquiry from buyers, says Madsen. He attributes this to growing interest in St Marys Bay due to its proximity to the CBD. "The development of Auckland CBD has increasingly moved west towards St Mary Bays, making the suburb all the more attractive to buyers."
