The final major residential land release in Hobsonville Point presents developers with their last opportunity to secure a site of scale to make their mark on one of Auckland’s fastest-growing suburbs.

Lots 5B, 6A, and 6B Hobsonville Point cover 39,755sq m of freehold land and are conveniently located near a range of amenities in the popular, master-planned community.

Lot 5B, which measures 9,782sq m, benefits from split zoning under the Auckland Unitary Plan. The high-profile corner of Hobsonville Point Road and Waka Moana Drive is zoned Residential – Terrace Housing and Apartment Buildings Zone, a highly sought-after zone among developers given the intensity of construction that can be undertaken up to 16m in height. Hobsonville Point averaged more than 30 house sales per month in 2021 and the median sales price for the area in November 2021 was $1.27 million. The suburb has 26ha of parks and reserves and 5km of coastal walkways, providing an exceptional lifestyle for its 6250 residents and that number is forecast to grow to more than 11,000 in the future.

Colliers directors Jason Seymour and Josh Coburn have been exclusively appointed to market the sites for sale and are taking expressions of interest with a closing date for offers of Thursday 17 March, unless sold prior.

Seymour, director of capital markets at Colliers, says these sites have approximately 950m of total street frontage and will be highly appealing for prospective buyers given this is the final opportunity to secure a large landholding in this prime part of Auckland’s residential landscape.
