“Our hope is that it’ll be a mix of people that love urban living, people that work in the CBD, people that like Meadowbank for all its amenity and good schools and people that like cycling along the waterfront. People that like no traffic,” Todd laughs.

The neighbourhood is within arm’s reach of the resplendent Ōrākei Basin, just one minute from Meadowbank Train Station (itself just nine minutes from the city centre’s vibrant waterfront and Britomart, Commercial Bay, the Viaduct, and Wynyard Quarter) and an easy 20-minute boardwalk wander to Orakei Bay Village.
