Experienced property professional Ian Little has been appointed to lead the Colliers Research team following Chris Dibble’s internal move to the Strategic Advisory department.

Little, Associate Director of Research at Colliers, joined the company in 2020, continuing a near 30-year career in the property industry that has included roles in property management, body corporate management, and research across New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

He will lead the team that includes Research Analyst Filip Ograbek and Research & Communications Coordinator Shelley Earwaker.

Colliers’ research is at the forefront of the property industry, offering independent and authoritative insights into emerging market trends and developments, which are shaping the future of commercial, industrial, residential, and rural property.

The team of market-leading researchers regularly deliver comprehensive reports, forecasts, and advice to empower property occupiers, owners, and investors to maximise the potential of property and accelerate their success.

They also conduct presentations for a range of property owners, occupiers, and industry bodies where they share their expertise and insights.

Little says he is excited about the opportunity to lead the team during what is set to be a dynamic period for the property industry amid changing market conditions.

"Market dynamics are changing so it is hugely beneficial to be able to draw upon market-leading data, expert insights from Colliers colleagues, locally and abroad, as well as nearly three decades of experience when providing clients with the best information to make their next property decision,” Little says.

“With strict Covid-19 lockdown restrictions behind us, I am also looking forward to delivering in-person presentations, meeting more people, and building upon the Research division’s relationships with established clients, which include a wide range of private stakeholders, leading listed property companies, government departments, developers, and offshore entities.”

Charles Cooper, Auckland Managing Director at Colliers, says it’s great to have Little take up the leadership position after two years with Colliers, and approximately 30 years in the industry.

“Ian’s experience, insights, and dedication make this an ideal appointment, and I look forward to the results he will achieve for our clients in accelerating their success.”
