Otago’s burgeoning property market and abundance of expansion opportunities have prompted Colliers Otago to recruit a new leader for their real estate business. Roger Ellis has been appointed to the newly-created role of General Manager – Real Estate.

Born and bred in Dunedin, Roger’s worked throughout New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Forging an impressive career specialising in building and developing sales teams for multi-national businesses, Roger brings over two decades of management, sales and marketing experience to the position. As National Field Sales Director for a prominent Australasian distributor, Roger led a high-performing sales force.

Colliers Otago are excited about the potential of the new appointment, based in Queenstown while working closely with the business’s Dunedin, Wanaka and Cromwell offices and operating across residential, commercial, tourism and rural-lifestyle asset classes. As General Manager, Roger’s committed to driving results and growth through enhancing team culture and strong client engagement. Innovative and resilient in his approach, success in Roger’s mind combines working within the company values, striving for growth through strategy and gaining results whilst ensuring all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
