The panoramic view from this character-filled circa-1896 mansion at 176 Remuera Road in Remuera, Auckland, still wows its owner Robyn after 25 years living here.
“I never take my view for granted,” says Robyn, as she looks at her sweeping northern slopes outlook, which stretches around across suburbs and the harbour, admiring Rangitoto, Waiheke, the Coromandel and Great Barrier.
She bought this three-storey heritage with her former husband when their children were teenagers.

The double-Grammar zoned residence already had a competition-sized tennis court but its interior was ripe for improvement, even incorporating some original scrim.
