The multiple apple varieties make up the lion's share of the planted area and all of these are processed for distribution at CAJ's state-of-the-art facility in nearby Ettrick. The cherries are covered with hail netting and there are also natural shelter plantings within and to the perimeter of the property.

Roxburgh is the 5th largest suburb of Otago in terms of the total number of residential housing stock.
