After five years of delivering consistent and outstanding results for domestic and international retail clients, Nilesh Patel has taken on the newly formed role, National Head of Retail Leasing for JLL New Zealand.
In Patel’s previous role as Head of Retail Leasing, Auckland, he was instrumental in negotiating and executing flagship locations for some of the world’s most recognised brands across the city, particularly in the hotly contested Auckland lower-CBD market.
In his new role, he will continue this work across his diverse client base that includes start-up businesses right through to multinational and luxury brands with a broader New Zealand-wide remit.
Managing Director for JLL New Zealand, Todd Lauchlan, says this appointment recognises Patel's strong work ethic and taps into his leadership skills that he’s honed as Head of Retail Leasing in Auckland.

Patel says the opportunity to lead the national retail leasing business and build on his successes at JLL was an exciting prospect.
