She's 26, has nine gold and six silver medals under her belt and is by far New Zealand's most successful Paralympian.
But swimmer Sophie Pascoe was also home-owner by the age of 19.
This week, Pascoe posted on Instagram a photo of the first house she ever bought. In a message to her followers, the Cantabrian wrote:
"Had an investment plan in my last year at high school and purchased my first house/investment at the age of 19. I have loved slowly making this house into my own home with the help of so many hands."

Pascoe said even though she was moving on, she was keeping the Christchurch house as an investment property.
"Along with creating/making lots of memories at this place. However, today after living here for 7 years, still keeping this place as an investment property, I move out and say goodbye, not forever but goodbye for now!"
Pascoe's followers congratulated her on the move and the fact that she had been able to buy a house at such a young age.
One wrote: "Wow. I'm way older than you, 'still' live with my parents and I don't see me buying a house or moving out anytime soon."
Pascoe is one New Zealand's most celebrated and successful athletes.
When she was 2, she lost her left leg after an accident involving a lawnmower.
She bought her home in the same period she won three gold medals and three silver medals at the Paralympic Games in London.
